Our client, a well-known financial institution in NYC, is looking for a Digital Producer - QA Analyst for a 3-month contract that requires 4-days/week onsite in Midtown Manhattan. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive testing on apps, websites, and other technical products to identify and resolve bugs, defects, and other potential issues. You will also provide guidance on technical SEO and website performance to enhance digital user experiences and raise website Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals scores. Additionally, you will contribute to managing, developing, and improving processes within the team, helping to define QA expectations for product managers and engineers. Your extensive knowledge of software and database testing, including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored jobs, and error replication, will be crucial to the success of our digital projects.
- This is a hybrid contract that requires 4-days/week onsite in Midtown Manhattan and 1-day/week remote.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing of apps, websites, and other digital products to identify and resolve bugs, defects, and potential issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance on technical SEO and website performance, aiming to improve Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals scores.
- Develop, implement, and improve QA processes and procedures to ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Assist in defining QA expectations and best practices for product managers and engineers.
- Create and execute test plans, cases, scripts, and procedures for functional and regression testing.
- Analyze and validate test data, stored jobs, and other backend processes.
- Perform error replication and troubleshooting to determine root causes of defects and issues.
- Monitor and report on the quality and performance of digital products, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Document test results, create detailed bug reports, and track defect resolution.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance QA methodologies.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Digital Producer/QA Analyst, specifically in testing apps, websites, and other technical products.
- Extensive knowledge of software and database testing, including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored jobs, and error replication.
- Experience with technical SEO, website performance optimization, and improving Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals scores.
- Strong understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks, such as Browserstack, JIRA, or similar platforms.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience with Siteimprove, Lighthouse, SEMrush, or Microsoft Clarity a huge plus.
