Direct hire opportunity for a skilled Journeyman Electrician at a Manufacturing company of precision and high-quality Heavy-Duty Metal Components used for specific application in Oil & Gas industries, Energy and Power Sector, Automobile and Heavy Engineering Projects. Catering to the demands of domestic as well as export markets that offer services in heavy Machining, Fabrication (As per ASME & EN Specification), Heat Treatment, Sub-Assemblies & Special Process. The Journeyman Electrician will have expertise in electrical systems, construction sites, and renovation projects.
- Job Title: Licensed Journeyman Electrician
- Location: full-time on-site role located in Conroe, TX 77306.
- Schedule: 1st Shift Monday – Friday (some weekends, some 8+ hour shifts).
- Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour. Depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components, including wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, lighting, and other electrical fixtures.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure safety and functionality.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with other team members, including apprentices, contractors, and project managers, to complete projects efficiently and on time.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentice electricians.
- Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and technologies through ongoing education and training.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the electrical trade.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.
- Experience in both residential and commercial electrical work.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal electrical codes and regulations.
