Ultimate Staffing is seeking a highly qualified Section 8 Property Manager for our client in the Waterbury, CT area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing low-income housing properties, specifically with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), HUD, and Section 8 programs. This is a direct placement opportunity with a salary of up to $80,000 per year. This is a direct placement role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of Section 8 and affordable housing properties.
- Ensure compliance with all HUD and LIHTC regulations.
- Oversee tenant relations, including lease agreements, rent collections, and conflict resolution.
- Perform property inspections and ensure the property meets quality standards.
- Work closely with vendors and maintenance teams to address repair and upkeep needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date tenant records and property documentation.
- Develop and implement effective property management strategies to optimize occupancy and tenant satisfaction.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in property management, with a focus on Section 8, HUD, and LIHTC properties.
- Strong knowledge of housing regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
- Proficient in property management software and MS Office Suite.
