This role supports the Data Office which is responsible for leading data initiatives spanning across master data, transactional data and 3rd party data sets. We're looking for someone who has a desire to impact and drive change, drive business value and create a data culture.
As the leader within the team, you will understand business goals, connect with business leaders and identify opportunities, drive implementation and management of data assets, build business relationships, support and collaborate on data governance program.
You will work with internal business leaders and IT teams to deliver analytics products, drive usage of those products, educate business teams on data driven decisioning, serving as a data SME on major business initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to translate business needs into actionable data insights.
- Manage technical execution of development tasks to ensure that solutions add real business value, data architecture is aligned with business goals, and the design is consistent with the enterprise architecture strategy.
- Support and disseminate enterprise data management strategies and drive the execution of these strategies with stakeholders.
- Be a major contributor to the long-term strategy for data ecosystem/platform.
- Evaluate issues in the governance of enterprise data, including problem definition, root cause analysis, and opportunity and solution recommendations.
Requirements:
- 10 - 15 years of experience in analytics and enterprise data management strategies.
- Solid experience in analytics and enterprise data management strategies. Strong knowledge of modern technologies in analytics & data science space.
- Experience driving analytics products proactively by partnering with business and providing thought leadership.
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
- Strong grasp of SQL, data management (example: Snowflake, Informatica or dbt) and visualization tools (such as Tableau or Power BI).
- Strong grasp of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), best practices and strategies.
- Familiarity with data science models and statistical packages for analyzing datasets.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and ensuring data quality and compliance.
- Previous experience in SAP S4 Hana data stack such as Data Sphere, BTP (business transformation platform), SAC (SAP Analytics Console), SAP MDM is highly desirable.
