TITLE: Pararescue Instructor

POSITION SUMMARY
MGS is seeking a dynamic and experienced Pararescue Instructor to join our team in support of the 351st Special Warfare Training Squadron (SWTS) at Kirtland Air Force Base. As a Pararescue Instructor, you'll play a pivotal role in providing leadership, training, mentorship, and guidance to Pararescuemen (PJs) and Combat Rescue Officers (CROs) within the 351st SWTS.
RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to):
- Deliver pipeline-specific technical qualification training for PJ and CRO personnel.
- Provide expertise and skillsets required for Special Warfare career field training programs.
- Ensure successful completion of each training block and phase according to AETC directives and operating instructions.
- Identify training requirements and develop effective training aids and instructional techniques.
- Conduct instruction on various topics including Airborne Operations, Technical Rope Rescue, Small Unit Tactics, Tactical Medicine, and more.
- Demonstrate weapons fire and handle munitions safely during training operations.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
- Associate degree.
- 5 years of experience supporting SOF Military Training Scenarios.
- Must be a prior pararescueman.
- 1+ years of experience in military freefall.
- Graduate of Special Operations Pipeline (Pararescue, CCT, 18 Series, SEAL, etc.).
- Deployment within the last 10 years in a Special Operations Organization.
- Operational familiarity with live fire shooting ranges in the last 10 years.
- Proficiency in land navigation and airborne operations.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- AETC Special Warfare Instructor Qualification Course (IQC) Preferred.
- Special Operations Medic qualified.
- Tactical vehicle operations, rotary wing operations, and aerial insertion.
- Tactical radio and ATAK basics.
- Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to lift and carry over 60 pounds without fatigue.
- Endurance to stand and maneuver in a field environment for extended periods.
- Comfortable operating outdoors in various weather conditions.
