Job Description :
Secure the success for medmix in the US and global markets by ensuring reliable, cost effective and efficient availability of medmix products and services. The Process Engineer’s responsibilities include installing, maintaining, improving and troubleshooting of production equipment and automations so that final products meet the established quality standards.
Main accountabilities and tasks
- Design production processes, schedules, specifications and related information.
- Design production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Lead implementation of new processes and equipment.
- Responsible for the operational readiness of production machines and automations.
- Lead troubleshooting activities of production equipment and automations.
- Manage process documentation (equipment drawings, manuals, schematics, etc.).
- Develop and implement process improvements and technological upgrades.
- Lead efficiency improvement activities through continuous improvement.
- Maintain high quality standards through on-the-floor interaction with employees to ensure quality and accuracy in each step of the production process.
- Train staff for new processes and provide work instructions and manuals.
- Lead the corrective actions process in finding solutions, and improvements for production problems.
- Identify and implement cost optimization and reduction initiatives.
- Provide engineering support as needed for the operations team to achieve business goals.
- Ensure that all business activities conform to local laws and regulations and are following company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations regarding environmental protection, fire prevention as well as occupational health and safety.
Work experience: 2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred (plastic components, injection molding, automation)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering
