I am working with a leading employee owned firm in the South East, looking for top quality production and design staff to grow into a project management or senior technical position in Charleston,SC.
Responsibilities
- Performing design calculations, preparing plans, and directing schematic designs for SCDOT and local government projects.
- Using advanced techniques, theory, precepts, and practices.
- Interacting with task leaders, team members, clients, and other consultants.
- Exercising judgment in independently evaluating, selecting, and adapting standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Mentoring direct reports, and conveying knowledge to others
- Team lunches/breakfasts and social activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree, Civil Engineering
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer
- 5+ years of experience with MicroStation, Geopak (or Open Roads) and SCDOT procedures
- Effective communication skills to engage with other employee-owners.
- Experience with MicroStation ORD
- Experience with Large Scale SCDOT Projects
- Advanced skills in specialized software programs
- Technical Training Experience
