Our client located in KC is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Licensing and Equipment Registration Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all vehicle licensing and registration processes, as well as handling IFTA Fuel Tax reports for the company.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact with state agencies for managing titles/licenses/registrations, managing each component and ensuring each vehicle is up to date and compliant.
- Oversee the reconciliation of title applications and vehicle registration forms.
- Accurately code invoices for processing in the accounts payable system.
- Maintain and update the Equipment Listing and TMT (Maintenance) system.
- Prepare and reconcile fuel and mileage data for IFTA Tax Returns on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Perform additional duties including system transfers for trucks/trailers, pulling relevant reports, and generating owner operator settlement statements.
Qualifications:
- A college degree or equivalent experience in related fields.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in computer usage and related software. This includes Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Accounting background preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with vehicle registration/trucking industry is a plus.
