About the Company:
Our food & beverage manufacturing client is seeking a skilled, collaborative Director of Quality for its 24/7 manufacturing site in KY. Reporting to the VP of Quality Assurance off-site, this leader will be the site head for QA including oversight over its quality and sanitation teams.
Location: Boone County, Kentucky
Compensation: $140-$170 base salary, 15% bonus structure
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct all aspects of the Quality Assurance and Sanitation Departments
- Assist in management of Food Safety HACCP Program
- Manage spending and budget
- Sanitation and CIP expert relative to systems and SSOPs
- Lead on-site Quality audits
Qualifications:
- Minimum of B.S. Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Quality certification including PCQI, HACCP, SQF preferred
- 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Direct experience in food and aseptic processing a plus.
