Hybrid: Onsite Tuesdays & Wednesday in Charlotte, NC
We are seeking an IT Lead/Architect for our direct client for a 6-month hybrid contract. There is a possibility of being hired by client after 6 months.
Responsibilities:
• Provide best practices of ETL/ELT design methodologies, architecture, strategy, and tactics for complex ETL solutions.
• Leverage deep expertise in one of the programming languages for data processes (Python, Scala) and expertise in building data lakes.
• Technical leadership of data engineering pipelines and assigns/coordinates work performed between offshore development team and project requirements.
• Proactively identify, design, and implement process improvements like automating manual processes, optimizing data flow, increase scalability, etc.
Requirements:
• Work onsite Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Charlotte, NC.
• 8 years of IT experience with 3 years of Lead experience including working with offshore teams.
• ETL design experience
• Architect and microservices experience
• Python, Scala, etc.
• Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and AWS
