You’ll have the chance to work with an agile team as they develop digital products to support your clients’ most pressing missions. We’re looking for someone to implement business analytics and processes, as well as delve into technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences.
As an IT Business Analyst, you’ll work to develop leading-edge applications. Working with a team of architects, developers, testers, DevSecOps engineers, data scientists, and alongside subject matter specialists, you’ll identify clients’ business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You’ll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and work alongside a team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, you’ll deliver high business value products to the client and end-users.
Must Have:
- Mid to Sr. Resource w/ 4+ years’ experience in developing software requirements, use cases, and supporting documentation
- We are responsible for software delivery and need strong analytical skills.
- Jira
- Experience working in cross-functional, Agile teams to design large-scale digital experiences that meet business objectives
- Possession of excellent client-facing or consulting skills
- Capable of working in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project time-lines and continual client delivery
- BA or BS degree
- Local to Hampton Roads, periodically going on client site
Nice if you Have:
- Possession of excellent client-facing or consulting skills
- Experience with wireframing, and prototyping tools (e.g., Axure, Balsamiq, Figma, Sketch)
- Experience with facilitating stakeholder interviews, creating personas, user journeys, and user observations
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Highly organized
- History of working tight timelines and meet SLAs
- Strong communicator that can provide progress reports
- Highly collaborative and ability to be flexible
- Ability to galvanize and calibrate communication based on audience
- Previous experience in software dev.
- Military/DOD Business Analysis experience
