Job Title: Data Center Technician
Location: Seattle, WA
Duration: 03 Month contract (Potential Temp to Perm)
Payrate: $32/hr.
Shift: 1st Shift (8:30 AM - 5 PM)
Job Description:
- More specifically, this role will help deploy new data center alarming functionality by gathering alarming parameters from data center design documents, primarily electrical schematics.
- Data Center electrical alarms depend on parameters like the amperage and voltage at alarm location, what equipment is associated with the point to be alarmed upon, and other factors.
- In this role you will use electrical schematics to determine these parameters and will encode them into a structured format that can be read by our software to generate alarm configurations.
- You will the resulting alarm performance to correct any errors and deliver production alarms to data center operators.
- Candidates should have experience reading engineering documentation and schematics, and the ability to translate non-structured data from such schematics into structured, standardized data.
- Candidates should have experience in Excel and be comfortable using Excel to manage large data sets.
- Candidates should be effective verbal and written communicators, with experience reporting their progress and blockers simply and clearly.
Required Skills:
- Familiarity with Data Center electrical diagrams.
- Familiarity with Data Center controls systems.
- Years of Experience: 2-3 Years
Must Have:
- Excel
- Electrical schematics, Familiarity with Data Center electrical diagrams.
- Structured Data and Data Entry.
