HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Lead and oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring full and efficient site performance.
- Manage staffing, budgeting, P&L, and customer service within the distribution center.
- Develop and implement long-range labor planning based on sales forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and security standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Six Sigma projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet warehouse operation goals and support the production department.
- Manage transportation logistics into and out of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Build bench strength through hands-on training and succession planning.
ARE YOU A SENIOR OPERATIONS MANAGER ROCK STAR?
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 10+ years of experience in a distribution environment, with 7+ years in a management role.
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare or GxP-related distribution environments.
- 5+ years of experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Experience leading and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and continuous process improvement.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
- Experience with cold chain storage and distribution is a plus.
- Familiarity with healthcare distribution licenses, with the ability to obtain a personal designated representative license.
