Job Title: Senior Manager - Integration SME (Accounts Payable)
Location: Onsite (Tue-Thurs), Remote (Mon & Fri)
Duration: 6-9 Months Contract with Potential for Full-Time Conversion
W2 Only, no C2C or 1099
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager-level Integration Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the integration of global acquisition systems within Accounts Payable (A/P) for a client in Houston. This role will focus on overseeing the integration process while collaborating with the A/P Director, who will manage day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of finance, controls, and business continuity, with a preference for those experienced in integrating A/P processes and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the integration of global acquisition systems, providing oversight and ensuring smooth integration of A/P operations.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify potential synergies between two merging groups and develop strategies for seamless alignment.
- Evaluate business continuity considerations and implement best practices to maintain operational stability during integration.
- Partner with the A/P Director to provide strategic guidance while they manage day-to-day A/P operations.
- Oversee system integration efforts, ensuring alignment between different platforms, including Oracle Cloud, SAP, Coupa, and Concur.
- Support the reporting of A/P results into a Trial Balance for consolidation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Leverage available playbooks and baselines, with the flexibility to adapt processes and frameworks for successful integration.
- Apply knowledge of overseas and European finance to address unique challenges in global integration (bonus if applicable).
- Potential to transition from contract to full-time position, depending on performance and company needs.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience managing global acquisition integrations, specifically within finance and accounts payable.
- Strong understanding of general finance, financial controls, and system integration.
- Ability to evaluate and discuss potential synergies, aligning business units effectively.
- Proven track record of managing integrations across different ERP and finance systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud, SAP, Coupa, Concur).
- Familiarity with European finance operations and multi-system environments is a bonus.
- Hands-on project management skills with a focus on executing complex integrations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with M&A projects within a finance or A/P setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead teams through complex transitions.
- Flexibility to manage both onsite and remote work arrangements.
Duration & Benefits:
- Initial contract of 6 months, with potential to extend to 9 months or longer.
- Opportunity for conversion to a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
Salary Range: $90-$95/hour. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
