Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management and release train engineering.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, including SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
- Proven experience running PI planning sessions and managing Agile Release Trains.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project).
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hybrid Technical Project Manager / Release Train Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position is located in Phoenix with 3 days a week onsite required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical project management and release train engineering, with a proven track record of successfully running Program Increment (PI) planning and managing Agile Release Trains (ARTs). This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and strategic planning to ensure the successful delivery of complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
-Facilitate PI planning sessions, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
-Oversee the execution of Agile Release Trains, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
-Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and making adjustments as necessary.
-Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues that may impede project success.
-Collaborate with product owners, scrum masters, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
-Implement and promote Agile best practices, continuously improving processes and methodologies.
-Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
-Monitor and report on project performance, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
