Structural Engineer - Onsite Owner Representative
Job Overview:
The Structural Engineer will act as the onsite lead for all structural activities related to the fabrication and construction of modules for a new oil and gas facility. This role involves being the primary point of contact for RFIs and engineering changes, as well as providing support for technical queries and critical lifting plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary focal point for RFIs from the construction contractor.
• Manage and review engineering changes from engineering firm.
• Provide technical support for queries from owner onsite inspectors.
• Review and approve critical lifting plans to ensure structural integrity.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 10-15+ years of experience in a structural engineering role, preferably in oil and gas or industrial projects.
• Professional Engineering License - Required
• Familiarity with oil and gas facility design.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
