Sr. Systems Engineer/Performance Testing, AI Applications/Infrastructure - Hybrid/Plano/McKinney

The Senior Systems Engineer position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee performance testing in remote locations and to be the go-to technical expert for teams in those areas. What will you be doing?
- Conduct performance testing of AI environments, including scalability testing
- Write test scripts for performance testing using Python and Perl
- Build and test AI environments before deployment to remote locations
- Provide support to international and U.S. locations
- Serve as a subject matter expert for escalation teams
- Size environments for the requirements of AI applications
- Focus on on-prem solutions for classified settings
- Work with Linux and Kubernetes containers
- Operate in a Data Center environment
- Collaborate to design lab infrastructure and lead Federal production infrastructure design
- Validate solutions with development and DevOps teams
- Document lab processes
- Manage day-to-day lab operations
- Automate lab tasks and generate lab reports
- Write documentation for software deployments
- Provide feedback to the development team
- Assist in system monitoring and troubleshooting
What are the minimum qualifications?
- 5+ years experience working as Senior Performance Test Engineer in a lab setting
- Strong Application Performance Testing experience
- Proficient in performance testing infrastructure and hardware
- Lab management experience
- Scripting skills in Python or other scripting language
- Automation Frameworks
- Kubernetes and Docker
- Active passport to occasionally travel overseas to serve as a domestic resource as needed (10% travel at the most)
