This role is offered with a Global manufacturing company, one of the largest and best-known producers in their industry. With a Global team of over 20,000 and annual revenue of over 9b. This is a rolling contract position, immediately available for hybrid onsite work at the Chicago suburb office near O’Hare.
They are in the middle of a Global transformation and are searching for a Sr. SAP Consultant to join them right away to assist in a large scale Transportation Management upgrade.
5+ years of SAP TM experience is a nonnegotiable requirement.

Responsibilities:
- Develop use cases, test plans, test scripts, and test cases to support SAP Transportation Management (TM) module.
- Configure and troubleshoot core SAP TM processes, including OTR/DTR, Freight Unit, Freight Order, and Freight Planning Strategy.
- Configure the BRF+ framework for TM-related conditions.
- SAP TM-ECC integration, especially for sales orders, deliveries, and STOs.
- Configure Freight Settlement Profiles, Carrier Invoice Creation, Charge Types, and Rate Tables.
- Manage TM Master Data, including Product, Business Partner, Transportation Networks (locations, routes, and zones), and Resources (Vehicles).
- Configure planning and execution processes for carrier selection and tendering.
- Optimize transportation planning and execution for different modes of transport, such as road and rail.
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience working within Enterprise SAP environments.
- Core participation in at least 3 to 4 full lifecycle SAP TM implementations.
- Proficient in configuring SAP TM modules and related objects.
- Strong expertise in TM integration with ECC for key transportation processes.
- Experience with SAP TM Master Data Management and optimizing transportation planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Products.
