About the Job
Are you ready to shape the future of concrete construction? As a Concrete Formwork Engineer, you’ll design and prepare formwork layout drawings, addressing technical aspects, forming materials, system selection, and proper implementation. You’ll support project planning to ensure the most efficient, safe, and economical forming systems are incorporated into the project design. Additionally, you’ll review the designs and calculations of Formwork Detailers, with opportunities for your work to be reviewed and stamped by a licensed engineer.

Your Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary ranging from $135,000 to $150,000 and $200,000 if you are a licensed Structural PE,
- Participation in the Incentive Bonus Program

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering, construction science, or civil engineering
- At least an Engineer in Training (EIT) pursuing a path toward PE licensure (PE license preferred but not required to start)
- Minimum of five years of experience calculating loads for shoring, forming, and reshoring for concrete structures
- Specific skills and expertise in formwork designs and layouts for concrete building frames or industrial structures
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and a basic understanding of VDC and BIM
Established local connections and relationships within the South Florida region are preferred. However, relocation assistance is available for strong candidates with outstanding resumes and stable work histories.
