Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated PL/SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. As a PL/SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality database solutions using PL/SQL for our organization's critical data-driven applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL code for database-driven applications, stored procedures, triggers, and functions to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements, data models, and performance optimization needs.
- Perform database performance tuning and optimization, ensuring efficient data retrieval, manipulation, and storage within the Oracle database environment.
- Develop and maintain data migration scripts, ETL processes, and data transformation logic using PL/SQL for seamless data integration.
- Design and implement database security measures, access controls, and data encryption to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance of database solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database designs, data models, and PL/SQL code for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with database administrators, application developers, and quality assurance teams to ensure the reliability and scalability of database solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a PL/SQL Developer, with a strong proficiency in Oracle database development and PL/SQL programming.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture, data modeling, and performance tuning techniques for optimal database performance.
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions to support data-driven applications and business processes.
- Familiarity with database design principles, normalization, indexing, and optimization for data integrity and efficiency.
- Experience with ETL tools, data migration processes, and data warehousing concepts is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot database performance issues and optimize PL/SQL code.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Knowledge of data security best practices, access controls, and compliance requirements for sensitive data protection.
- Certification in Oracle PL/SQL or related database technologies is a plus.
