Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Python Developer or Senior Python Developer to join our team. This role involves working on a large-scale development project in the banking/finance industry. The project focuses on building a new system of record to support a matchbox initiative for up-market domain intent, with an emphasis on clean, scalable code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Python-based applications, primarily using Lambdas.
- Utilize Spark with Scala, AWS Glue, and Step Functions to build scalable systems.
- Contribute to creating a system of record for new business requirements.
- Work as part of a full-stack development team to deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in the development of a pure coding initiative with minimal product team dependencies.
Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python, specifically with Lambdas.
- Hands-on experience with Spark and Scala.
- Strong knowledge of AWS Glue and Step Functions.
- Experience with system of record creation and data management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the banking or finance sector.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment.
