As the Facility Manager responsible for Maintenance, you will oversee the upkeep and operation of our cutting-edge manufacturing facility. This role is vital for maintaining the facility in peak condition, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting our dedication to producing top-quality pharmaceutical products. Key Responsibilities:
Facility Management:
- Supervise daily operations and maintenance to ensure seamless and efficient facility performance.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
- Oversee repair and maintenance of critical infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and more.
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory standards.
Team Leadership:
- Lead the maintenance team, including recruiting, training, and managing performance.
- Create a collaborative and productive work environment that emphasizes safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all facility operations and maintenance comply with FDA regulations, cGMP guidelines, and other relevant standards.
- Prepare and maintain thorough documentation for maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance audits.
Project Management:
- Oversee facility improvement projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance services and facility upgrades.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget, including forecasting and cost control.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements while upholding high quality and safety standards.
Emergency Response:
- Develop and implement emergency response plans for facility-related incidents.
- Serve as the primary contact for facility emergencies and coordinate response efforts.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher.
- 5-7 years of experience in facility management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of GMP regulations and industry standards related to sterile manufacturing.
- Proven experience in managing maintenance programs and leading a team of maintenance professionals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements:
