Robinson+Cole, a Vault "Top Ranked" Am Law 200 firm, seeks an associate to join the expanding Managed Care and Employee Benefit Litigation Practice Group in its Philadelphia, New York City, Hartford, Stamford, or Miami offices.
The ideal candidate will have four to six years of complex litigation experience, strong academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills, and large-firm or equivalent experience. The successful candidate will be expected to assume substantial responsibility, including making court appearances, managing discovery, participating in depositions, and drafting briefs on critical motions. Judicial clerkship experience is a plus. Experience litigating ERISA benefits, medical provider disputes, and/or insurance coverage disputes is preferred, but not required.

We represent large employers, leading companies in the health, life and disability insurance markets, and other clients involved in the operation and administration of benefit plans. The Managed Care and Employee Benefit team is a regional and national leader in the field, litigating cutting edge issues in important cases with a recognized history of excellence.
Preferred candidates will be admitted to one or more of the following state bars: New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Connecticut. Please note that all R+C attorneys must be admitted in the state of their primary office location.
New York Applicants: Please note that the target base salary range for this position is $195,000 to $210,000. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's class year, years of experience, skills, qualifications, and office location.
