DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Academic or professional background in international affairs, intelligence, travel risk, or corporate security
- Prior experience supporting a global travel, travel risk, or corporate security program for a multinational corporation
- Experience utilizing third-party travel risk platforms such as Crisis24/Worldcue, Everbridge Travel Protector, or International SOS
- Familiarity with global risk and/or intelligence vendors such as Everbridge, Sibylline, Intelligence Fusion, Factal, Crisis24, etc.
- Familiarity employing mass communication technologies to communicate during incidents or crises
HERE IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Someone who has potentially global corporate securities, previous travel experience-
- Primarily they will utilize MS Suite, but familiarity with risk monitoring platforms such as Everbridge or crisis 24 for travel and global monitoring would be helpful.
- Reviewing travel itineraries and responding to emails is approximately 60% of the position.
- This is an administrative job, one of the biggest things needed is drafting emails for senior executives and strong communication skills.
- Reviewing itinerary is for the purpose of limiting risk.
- 4 year degree in securities studies could be a fit-Potential titles: travel risk specialist, security analyst (avoid cyber), intelligence, global security, crisis management
POSITION OVERVIEW:
- Our client is seeking a Global Travel Risk Specialist to join the Corporate Security Global Travel Risk program.
- This position will be responsible for facilitating safe and secure business travel for Wells Fargo employees through the detailed review of itineraries to elevated risk locations to ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
- Additionally, the Global Travel Risk Specialist will utilize open-source information and vendor platforms to conduct global monitoring for developing or ongoing issues which have the potential to impact business travel.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Review travel requests and itineraries to elevated risk destinations to ensure compliance with all applicable policies and procedures
- Contact travelers and/or delegates if documents or contents are missing or noncompliant with travel policies
- Monitor the Global Travel Risk mailbox and respond to all inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Utilize third-party risk platforms to monitor for incidents that could impact client business travelers globally; follow existing protocols to communicate with travelers and report status to key stakeholders and incident management entities
- Support crisis management operations during major incidents as required, including after normal business hours
- Compile and disseminate Travel Risk Advisories as required
- Provide travel risk support to major company events as required
- Fulfill responsibilities related to the maintenance and publication of country risk ratings and hotel security assessments
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to facilitate information sharing, identify and understand requirements, and seek opportunities to improve process efficiency
