OVERVIEW:
The manager is looking for someone who is a Project Manager first. They should have a solid track record of managing Capex projects, for an Owner, as a Project Manager. This individual should have some experience with projects related to controls systems at industrial processing facilities, ideally agriculture, food, or chemical processes. All projects will flow through the FEL/Stage Gate process. This person will be involved in project development and oversight. The project will involve the replacement of multiple control cabinets
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing a suite of projects from gate 2 all the way through construction will be this person’s responsibility.
- Manage and assist outside resources such as engineering support and subcontract labor
- Work with contractors to get final cost estimates and projects bids submitted
- Collaborate with electrical engineering group to get equipment lists and models
- Develop project pricing and contract bids
- Submit the construction requests
EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years of project management experience with a focus in controls/automation projects in industrial facilities
- PMP highly preferred
- Prior experience working in an industrial processing plant environment required
- Automation/Controls Experience required
- Owner’s side project experience required
