Job Description:
The Product, Design, & Marketing Budget Team seeks a resourceful Technical Product Manager to oversee the development of an internal tool.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate expectations and status to technical and business teams.
- Take ownership of product delivery, ensuring integrity and team success.
- Establish rapport and influence in a large matrixed organization.
- Solve team, project, and cross-functional issues creatively.
- Understand iterative software development, Agile methodologies, and delivery metrics.
- Track backlog, burndown metrics, and task definition.
- Familiarity with PHP development and the LAMP stack (helpful but not required).
- Knowledge of business intelligence and supply chain concepts (a plus).
Specific Duties:
- Identify user needs and create high-level feature requirements.
- Manage end-to-end implementation, QA, and user-acceptance testing.
- Prioritize user-facing and back-end issues, working closely with developers.
- Document user processes and backend workflows.
- Perform data analysis and audits to ensure data accuracy.
- Manage the ticketing system for bugs and feature requests.
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop solutions.
- Schedule meetings, take detailed notes, and follow up on action items.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years in software development, product management, or project management.
- Experience with drafting high-level feature requirements.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and communicating with technical and non-technical teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
- Knowledge of Purchase to Pay processes and financial data (e.g., Purchase Requests, Purchase Orders, invoices).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to understand complex organization requirements and the impact of new features.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and evolving business requirements.
