Overview of Role
ZwitterCo is seeking a Wastewater Field Representative based in or near Omaha Nebraska to join our growing Applications Engineering team. This role will be a key contributor in ensuring the successful, high-impact application of ZwitterCo’s cutting-edge membranes across North America.
The candidate will play an external-facing role and support customers in their implementation of ZwitterCo membranes, visiting sites to ensure successful process startup and operation. The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer-facing technical role that includes on-site support. Experience with membranes is a plus but not a requirement.
Key to this role is the ability to work across internal and external functions in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Role responsibilities include traveling to customer sites to support the startup and operation of ZwitterCo membranes, working with customers to guide, troubleshoot, and analyze operational data, and communicating learnings and observations to internal stakeholders. Responsibilities include:
- Traveling to customer sites to support in-person site visits.
- Developing relationships with end-user operators and stakeholders, understanding their process and key performance indicators (KPIs) unique to the plant.
- Supporting customers with the startup and operation of their membrane systems utilizing ZwitterCo membranes, especially ZwitterCo RO membranes.
- Educating operators on best-practice RO membrane operations and the unique value propositions of ZwitterCo membranes compared with conventional products.
- Gathering operational and cleaning data from customer installations and collaborating with Applications Engineering on analyzing and interpreting that data for customer recommendations.
- Communicating learnings and observations to internal stakeholders (sales, applications engineering, product management and research and development).
- Provide other remote post-sales support to customers and end-users.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in a customer-facing technical role.
- Previous experience with water treatment equipment; membrane experience is a plus.
- Certification in Water and/or Wastewater treatment is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Located near a major airport.
Schedule, Travel, Compensation, and Location
This full-time position will be located remotely in the U.S. (in or around Omaha Nebraska) and reports to the Applications Engineering Manager.
This travel heavy role will consist mainly of short duration trips (1-2 days) throughout the week and the candidate can expect to be home for most weekends. All travel costs (e.g. transport, food, lodging) are covered by the company.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and include equity and benefits.
