The primary focus will be on products liability litigation. The attorney holding this position will be responsible for managing case files, taking and defending depositions, legal research, preparing legal documents, investigating facts, and attending hearings, depositions, mediations and trials.
Additional responsibilities may include:
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, and contracts.
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies.
- Analyze probable outcomes of cases using knowledge of legal precedents.
- Conduct discovery processes, such as depositions, interrogatories, request for admissions, and document production.
- Prepare and present cases to judicial officers.
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
- Negotiate settlements for legal disputes.
