We are seeking a VP of Engineering to lead our engineering efforts and drive innovation in our growing GreenTech company. As a key member of the leadership team, you will collaborate closely with Product and Operations to develop and scale cutting-edge energy management solutions. Your role will involve overseeing all engineering activities, ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable, and efficient products, while continuously improving our processes and technology stack.
Responsibilities
• Lead the engineering team in planning, developing, and releasing large-scale, cross-platform projects.
• Define and implement technical strategy, aligning with the company's vision and goals.
• Oversee the architecture and development of new features and products, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Foster a culture of innovation, quality, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
• Manage and mentor engineering managers and senior engineers, promoting professional growth and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on high-level capacity planning and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, particularly in energy management.
• Monitor and report on engineering KPIs, ensuring transparency and alignment with company objectives.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including investors and partners, to communicate technical vision and progress.
What We're Looking For
• 5-10 years of engineering leadership experience, with a proven track record in scaling engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of software development life cycle, from architecture to deployment.
• Experience with cloud platforms, microservices, and scalable system design.
• Passion for sustainability and a strong desire to contribute to the GreenTech sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
• Self-driven, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Experience in energy management, IoT, or related industries.
• Background in scaling engineering operations from early-stage startups to mid-sized companies.
