Job Opportunity: Asphalt Estimator
Location: Los Angeles, CA (not remote)
About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Asphalt Estimator to join one of California's most respected and established asphalt contractors. The projects mainly involve street and city widening initiatives for smaller municipalities and Los Angeles County.
What You’ll Do:
- Generate initial estimates using industry best practices and integrate data into HCSS.
- Ensure accurate bid submissions by uploading bid items correctly in HCSS.
- Create detailed, job-specific narratives to support proposal development.
- Manage bid proposal submissions, adhering to owner deadlines and criteria.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in estimating, cost control, or a related engineering field.
- Willingness to relocate or ability to commute easily to Los Angeles.
