We are searching for a full-time Color Specialist to support our successful Fortune 500 retail client located near Rogers, Arkansas!
As a Color Specialist, you will:
- Research and Report: Explore textile and fashion products, creating top-notch color-matching reports for our client's supplier partners
- Compare and Conquer: Pull items from outside suppliers and match them against our client's gold-standard files
- Tech Mastery: Quickly get up to speed with our client's proprietary color software and precision equipment
- Communication & Process Pro: Apply and share your working knowledge and insights of textile material design and development processes clearly with both internal teams and external partners
- Detail Detective: Focus on accuracy and meticulous attention to detail, especially when preparing samples and conducting tests
- Color Creator: Develop digital and physical color cards based on client design teams vision
What Were Looking For:
- Color Perception: Pass the Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue Test with flying colors (score 16 or lower)
- Expertise: Strong working knowledge of textiles, materials, dyeing and finishing, print, pattern, and manufacturing
- Experience: Minimum of one year of color project management experience, ideally in a production, or manufacturing environment
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Textile Design, Color Science) or equivalent experience.
