Onboarding Specialist **SPANISH REQUIRED*
The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for facilitating customer service to caregivers by visiting the branch offices, being the face of the agency, and assisting with all employment inquiries for caregivers in the assigned facility. Our Onboarding Specialist will develop and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent to the company. A successful Onboarding specialist will proceed in onboarding and integrating all qualifying talent into the company in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as company policies and procedures. Our ideal candidate should be able to manage time, multitask, work independently, and work within a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Meet, greet, and act as a point of contact for caregivers, addressing inquiries and concerns related however not limited to onboarding, payroll, HR, and coordination in their assigned facility.
- Screening and entering all qualifying employment inquiries for caregivers received via phone, and emails into applicable systems, namely Salesforce
- Vetting and assisting with the complete hiring process for walk-in caregivers and all assigned leads
- Assist with tracking, and maintaining, field recruitment presentation lists
- Building connections with community resources, and caregiver schools to optimize recruitment numbers
- Track, maintain, and update personnel records related however not limited to onboarding, coordination, payroll, and HR in accordance to the agency’s established guidelines.
- Conduct new hire orientations required for onboarding
- Understands and adheres to state and federal regulations as well as company policies and procedures
- Manage telephone calls/emails in a supportive and professional manner
- Ensure complete and absolute confidentiality of employee information
Skills:
- HOME CARE: (Preferred)
- SPANISH (MUST)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English & Spanish
- The ability to work independently and within a team.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks and must be flexible in an extremely fast-paced environment, yet stay organized
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software
- Optimistic, energetic, outgoing, and with great energy.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills - with internal and external staff
