Position: Sr. Front End Engineer (Contract)
Groove Jones, a world-renowned and award-winning studio specializing in Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Interactive Entertainment technologies, is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer for an upcoming project. The ideal candidate will have a helpful, proactive, and supportive work ethic, ready to experience cutting-edge technologies and work with exciting clients.
This is a contract role - Remote or Local
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and implement front-end solutions using React.js and TypeScript
- Develop responsive and optimized user interfaces for multiple browsers and devices
- Implement efficient state management solutions
- Create smooth and engaging animations using Framer Motion
- Collaborate with the team to integrate front-end with AWS services
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code
- Ensure high-quality user experiences through optimal user flow design
Position Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with React.js and TypeScript
- Strong proficiency in modern CSS techniques and best practices
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX, or Zustand)
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud architecture
- Expertise in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Proficiency with Framer Motion for creating fluid animations
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with react-router and styled-components
- Familiarity with GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform)
- Knowledge of Rive animation tool
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards
