An exciting Clinical Research Site is looking for a Clinical Site Director to join the team! With a large number of sites across the US, this company provides comprehensive research site solutions to effectively connect the right patients, investigators, and research personnel for clinical trials throughout the United States.
The Role:
The Clinical Site Director oversees the comprehensive management of both business and clinical operations at the site, ensuring the achievement of targeted objectives. This role includes the management of the site's annual and forecasted operating budgets, along with the efficient coordination, organization, and execution of clinical trials.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute strategies to enhance research capabilities at the site, aligning with overall business and growth plans.
- Supervise the implementation and upkeep of company quality standards, ensuring adherence to ICH GCPs and company SOPs in the conduct of clinical studies and patient data collection.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director to address study and clinical quality-related matters.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with Sponsors, CROs, and IRBs as needed.
- Develop staffing plans for the site, ensuring the efficient execution of research studies and addressing resource needs for successful study conduct and recruitment.
Requirements:
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree; Advanced degree or equivalent clinical research experience recommended.
- 5+ years of clinical management experience or equivalent applicable experience in the clinical research industry.
- Familiarity with organizational strategies in the field, demonstrating adaptability in a dynamic work environment. Proficient in decentralized team management and making responsive decisions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinical research, including understanding drug development processes.
- Proficient in reviewing protocols, programs, and assessing project success.
