Prequel is seeking candidates for a full time IT manager role with an innovative high-tech company in the greater Pittsburgh area. This industry leading company provides a competitive salary, full health/retirement benefits and opportunities for advancement in a fast-growing company.
This position works full time onsite at company offices located a short distance west from the city of Pittsburgh. This role will lead a Technical Infrastructure team of 6. Note, this role does include some night and weekend time based on business demands in the industry.
Targeting candidates with a mix of the following skills/experience:
- 5+ years in a IT leadership role
- Experience with IT Networking & systems.
- Proficient in Network Performance and Monitoring
- Troubleshooting/Break Fix
- Router/Switch/Servers
- MSFT Azure Cloud Platform experience (VPN, VM’s)
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 6+ network and systems
- Manage technologies and provide administrative assistance for various systems
- Understand various IT troubleshooting and provide technical support
- Control and monitor data, network access and backup systems
- Negotiate and communicate with third-party software providers for new software's and troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field
- 10+ years of experience in related field
- Experience in information technology space and solving various systems and hardware problems
- Strong technical problem solving and communication skills
