Software Engineer (Web Developer) - Full Time / Direct Hire - 90% Remote - 4 Day Work Week!
Hamilton Porter is a technical recruiting firm that specializes in placing software development talent in full-time roles with cutting-edge companies across the United States. One of our best clients is a multi-national electronics company based in Las Vegas. They design, develop, and product the hardware & software for an electronics product that is heavily used by casinos, banks, and other financial institutions. Due to growth, we are actively looking to hire a level II Software Engineer. This is a remote role, but we are only looking for candidates in the Greater Las Vegas area. The technical environment is primarily Microsoft based with some C/C++ as well. (C#, .NET, JavaScript, SQL, Visual Studio, etc..)
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, develop and document application programs for complex computer systems
- Analyze and perform modifications to and maintenance of highly complex operational programs and procedures
- Program clear and concise solutions
- Write complete and detailed unit tests
- Participate in functional and technical reviews
- Assist in the evaluation, selection, and prototyping of technical architecture
- Create, analyze and interpret software specifications.
- Troubleshoot and debug software design.
- Perform integration, validation, and certification of unit-tested software.
Job Requirements:
- Experience developing software with two or more programming technologies. (C#, C, C++, Java, WPF, SQL, HTML5, etc..)
- Experience developing software using Microsoft Visual Studio on Windows platforms.
- Understand concepts of Object Oriented Programming.
- Understand the basic usage of software version control systems.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
