Systems Network Administrator
Provide technical assistance in maintaining and troubleshooting organization's computer systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure. You will be the first line of support for end-users, responding to queries via phone, email, and in person, ensuring seamless system and network performance.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in both systems administration and network troubleshooting, with a proactive approach to solving complex issues.
Responsibilities for the Systems Network Administrator:
- Provide fast, efficient support for system and network issues via phone, email, and remote access.
- Assist with setup, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, servers, and network devices.
- Install and update software, hardware, and network equipment according to company policies.
- Conduct routine audits to ensure security compliance and performance standards.
- Monitor system and network performance, addressing potential issues proactively.
- Collaborate with the IT team to resolve complex network problems and implement improvements.
- Manage Active Directory, user accounts, and group policies for secure access.
- Support hybrid environments, including Office 365 and cloud solutions.
- Apply security patches, monitor for vulnerabilities, and ensure network security.
- Train and assist users with hardware and software issues.
Preferred Qualifications for the Systems Network Administrator:
- Associate's degree or technical certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Systems and Network Support or Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Office 365 applications (Exchange, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint).
- Experience with LAN/WAN network troubleshooting and familiarity with networking protocols such as TCP/IP.
