Meraki Talent is currently working with a leading Real Estate fund who are looking to recruit an Investor Relations, Associate / VP for their Atlanta office. This newly created role will report directly to the SVP of operations & IR, supporting the business on all aspects of outreach including marketing materials, pitch decks, investor queries and reporting, as well as significant client-facing and capital raising exposure. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to enhance their IR career path, focusing on capital raising.
The firm has grown from strength to strength over the last 15 years, with >$10bn in Real Asset Value and $3bn AUM. They're keen to bring on talented individuals to their ever-growing team. They specialize in Real Estate, Private Equity and Debt. The firm focuses on opportunities in hotel properties across the US.
Investor Relations experience is a necessity, along with a good understanding of the alternatives. A background in Real Estate would be preferred but not essential. You must have a passion for the industry, be willing to learn and a strong team player, as well as comfortable carrying out presentations to investors, fund managers etc. A rolodex is not required. However, a history speaking, meeting and cultivating relationships with LP's, specifically institutions, would be really beneficial.
The ideal candidate would have the following background:
- 2–7 years experience in Investor Relations / Capital Raising
- Background in Real Estate, Private Equity, Credit, Hedge Funds, Real Assets.
- Ideally, have a strong educational background, including professional qualifications or equivalent
