The National Association of Broadcast Technicians and Employees-Communication Workers of America, (NABET-CWA Local 16) represents technical employees at the ABC Television Network, WABC-TV, and Distrokid. We maintain a small office in midtown, New York City, consisting of a full-time President and a full-time Assistant to the Treasurer.
We are looking for an on-site, part-time, three-days-a-week, assistant secretary whose duties include: -answering the telephone
-filing
-emailing
-letter writing
-processing employer and Union reports
-communicating with members and their employers.
This is an OPEIU (Union) represented position offering a Union wage, an $80/month commuting benefit and
pro-rata paid sick leave, short-term disability, personal days, and vacation days.
