Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled individual who can work directly with client agencies to organize and shepherd educational technology projects from inception through production and implementation.
The Project Manager will lead the design, development, and implementation of educational projects and initiatives. This role requires strategic thinking, a deep understanding of educational best practices, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Project Manager will collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to create innovative educational programs that meet the needs of diverse learners and align with organizational goals. Some travel will be required as needed to meet with external partners. This is a hybrid position with the expectation of some office time in the Buffalo office.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Development & Management:
- Lead the conceptualization, design, and execution of educational projects from inception to completion
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets; manage resources effectively to ensure successful project outcomes
- Oversee the creation and delivery of educational content, curricula, and materials in line with project goals
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align project goals with the organization's strategic vision
- Conduct needs assessments and market research to identify opportunities for new educational initiatives
- Develop long-term strategies for the growth and sustainability of educational projects
Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with education agencies and stakeholders
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners and collaborators
- Present project updates, proposals, and results internally and to clients
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree and/or equivalent experience in K-12 Education or another related field
- Understanding of educational technologies
- 5+ years of experience in educational project development, program management, or a related field
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and leading diverse teams
- Strong understanding of educational theories, practices, and trends
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve problems
- Ability to travel
