Are you looking for a dynamic and thrilling career in technology? Look no further! As a pioneer in high-performance analog and digital and RF semiconductors, acoustic filters, and ultra-dense System-In-Package solutions, our client is at the forefront of the next wireless revolution across industries such as; Automotive, Cellular Infrastructure, Smart Cities, IoT, and AI/ML.
The role of RF Module Design Engineer:
As the RF Module Design Engineer you will be working on designing RF/Microwave System in Package products, including RFICs, LNAs, Acoustic Filters, and PAs. As part of the RF SiP Module Design Team, you will be involved in developing cutting-edge PA, RF switches, LNAs, and front-end modules for automotive and IoT applications, driving the industry’s transformation in the way data is carried.
The role will also include:
- Engage in all stages of product development, including product definition, architecture, system budgeting, transistor-level circuit design, Multi Chip Module design, layout and layout supervision, lab debugging, and production support.
- You will lead lab experiments to identify the root cause of RF/functionality-related FEM performance issues.
- Collaborate closely with EM Design Engineers, Lab Technicians, Validation/Optimization Engineers, Test Engineers, and Package Engineers to address complex cellular RF front-end challenges.
- Prepare prototype build and assembly documentation, such as Bill of Materials (BOM) and configuration matrices.
- Conduct lab tests, summarize, and analyze the results of RF front-end modules.
- Present lab results and root cause analyses to a broader audience, driving optimal performance of RF front-end modules.
What we need for the RF Module Design Engineer:
- Hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 8 years of experience, or an MSc with 6 years of experience.
- Possess solid expertise in RF concepts, including impedance matching, impedance transformation, distributed systems, passive RLC and resonant circuits, noise, linearity, bandwidth, and stability.
- Demonstrate strong circuit simulation skills using Agilent ADS, GoldenGate, spectreRF, and 2.5/3D EM tools such as Momentum, EMX, or HFSS.
- Familiar with lab instruments, including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, RF Probe Stations, Noise Figure Analyzers, and Load-pull Tuners.
- Exhibit strong lab skills in data collection/analysis, lab debugging/tuning, and product troubleshooting.
- Be a self-starter and team player with a strong desire to learn on the job.
- Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written, and logical reasoning skills, capable of breaking down complex problems, setting priorities, reporting progress, and executing to schedule.
- Ideally - Solid understanding in module building blocks, including Power Amplifiers, Low Noise Amplifiers, RF Switches and Couplers, Filters and Multi-chip Module.
