Our client is a well established general contractor specializing in public and private building and industrial projects. Their expertise includes construction management, general construction, design / build, and built-to-suit leaseback in sectors like healthcare, life sciences, food and beverage, corporate, senior living, education, cultural and lifestyle, historic, and athletics. They are now hiring for a Project Manager in Jacksonville, FL on a full time basis. This is a direct hire opportunity with a salary of up to $140k depending on overall experience plus benefits like M/V/D, 401k, PTO, vehicle allowance / gas card, and more.
Duties:
- Establish project objectives and standards, collaborate with project executive and ensure project aligns with corporate policies
- Oversee project construction to deliver on design, budget, and schedule, taking full accountability for project completion and customer satisfaction.
- Lead project meetings, provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions, and mentor and develop project engineers.
- Manage cost control, billings, change management and cash flows, maximizing profitability and building valuable client relationships.
- Implement safety programs, maintain meticulous project documentation, and ensure on-time budget completion while mitigating schedule impacts
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years experience in project management with a focus on self perform general contracting specifically within the healthcare, life sciences, and industrial sectors.
- Minimum of 5 years experience of hands on experience managing on-site projects ranging from $5 - $10 million in commercial and industrial sectors
- Ability to adeptly manage budgets, optimize profitability, and foster enduring relationships to secure future projects
- Ability to navigate complex challenges, innovate solutions, and make informed decisions that drive project success.
