Job Description:
Seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft 365 Level 3 Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. As an M365 L3 Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining our Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring its smooth operation and security. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft 365 applications and services, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to implement best practices for optimizing M365 functionality within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, and other components.
Design, implement, and maintain M365 security and compliance solutions, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Rights Management (IRM), and Advanced Threat Protection (ATP).
Perform tenant administration tasks such as user management, license assignment, and configuring policies.
Monitor and maintain the health of the Microsoft 365 environment through proactive management and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to integrate M365 services with existing systems and applications.
Plan and implement migration strategies from on-premises environments or other cloud services to Microsoft 365.
Provide end-user support and training on Microsoft 365 applications and features.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to Microsoft 365 and recommend improvements or enhancements.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Microsoft 365 Administrator, with deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
Solid understanding of M365 security features and compliance requirements.
Experience in implementing and managing Microsoft 365 tenant configurations and policies.
Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and administration tasks.
Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate, or similar.
Experience with Microsoft Azure Active Directory and integration with Microsoft 365.
Familiarity with hybrid environments connecting on-premises systems with Microsoft 365.
Experience with third-party tools and solutions that integrate with Microsoft 365.
