Sr ISupply Chain Specialist
Objectives:
Collaborate with senior management to align warehouse strategies with overall corporate objectives and goals.
Implement best practices for inventory management, including accurate forecasting, stock level optimization, new launch and buildout activities, and minimizing carrying costs.
Prepare annual warehouse budget
Analyze warehouse costs such as labor, storage, inventory, transportation, and overhead expenses. Develop and implement cost management strategies to optimize/reduce warehouse expenses while ensuring high-quality service and operational efficiency.
Prepare and present monthly cost report(s) to senior management, highlighting areas of concern and proposing solutions if applicable.
Evaluate and negotiate contracts with third-party service providers and suppliers to optimize service levels and reduce costs.
Manage warehouse contracts.
Monthly warehouse inventory to shipment reconciliation.
Drive warehouse continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve overall operational effectiveness.
Performs and/or support Physical Inventory at the warehouses as frequent as established or needed. Also performs or supports cycle counts as needed.
Lead and coordinate risk management projects from initiation through implementation and closure, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of project goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate risk
Desired Qualifications: -
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business-related field with minimum of 5 years’ experience. - Production Control experience and knowledge
