Job Responsibilities:
As a COE Installer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth installation and maintenance of telecommunication equipment in both customer facilities and central offices. You will be expected to:
- Expertly install telecommunication equipment in inside and/or outside plant environments.
- Accurately determine the equipment necessary to complete central office installations.
- Deliver projects on time, incident-free, and in alignment with customer expectations.
- Maintain the highest quality of work, adhering to customer standards.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide expert installation and configuration of telecommunications equipment.
- Ensure projects are completed with precision and meet established timelines.
- Work within customer standards to deliver the highest level of service quality.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Adapt quickly to changing environments and project requirements.
Must-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with Telcordia standards.
- Experience with racking & stacking equipment in a central office.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and proficiency with basic computer software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Reliable transportation and a basic set of tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience with AT&T or Verizon central office installations.
