We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in establishing security departments, implementing advanced security solutions, and leading security initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Security Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- MDR Implementation: Lead the deployment and management of Managed Detection and Response (MDR) systems to improve threat detection capabilities.
- Security Awareness: Develop and conduct effective phishing training programs to reduce the risk of successful phishing attacks.
- Incident Response: Create and implement robust incident response plans and procedures to minimize the impact of security incidents.
- Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts using Python and PowerShell to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST 800-171 by writing and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
- Threat Hunting: Conduct log analysis and threat hunting activities to identify and mitigate advanced threats.
- Team Development: Train and mentor security team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Security Configuration: Configure and maintain policies for firewalls, Azure cloud infrastructure, conditional access, vulnerability scans, and email security.
- Infrastructure Projects: Lead major projects related to engineering and implementing information systems infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of cybersecurity experience
- Experience training, coaching, or mentor junior cybersecurity professionals.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure security specific to Azure.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and frameworks.
- Expertise in implementing and managing MDR solutions.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and PowerShell.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
