Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Jr Systems Engineer:
This Jr Systems Engineer will be implementing technical requirements and solutions. Perform configuration and maintenance to applications and servers. Day to day they will be working in a lab environment supporting enterprise application performance management, monitoring and logging solutions. Will need experience troubleshooting and supporting systems and applications across on-premise and environments.
Required Skills for the Sr Systems Engineer:
- 2+ years of Systems Engineering experience supporting Linux and Windows environments (RedHat Enterprise Linux 6.x/7.x and Ubuntu 18+)
- Experience with network technologies (firewall, routing, LAN, WAN, DNS)
- Experience with storage technologies (SAN and NAS)
- Experience with TC/IP Networking using Apache
- Proficient in PowerShell and Bash for scripting
- Some familiarity working with MySQL
