The Outdoor Performance team is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, proactive and responsive Sr. Project Manager to support the enterprise portfolio spanning multiple departments and brands. This person works closely with Executive Business Owners to ensure high-quality practices.
This position reports to the President/CEO, working out of our Bozeman headquarters with opportunity to lead projects in our secondary location in Logan, Utah.
As the Sr. Project Manager, you will have an opportunity to:
- Manage a team of individuals within the platform on select projects, providing guidance and support in project planning, execution and delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Establish and oversee the governance, standards and best practices of the PMO.
- Enable the senior leadership team in the prioritization and governance of initiatives and programs to ensure attainment of long-term strategy.
- Collaborate closely and build relationships with cross-functional business partners to set expectations and successfully guide project execution, breaking down barriers to accelerate pace.
- Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure the successful implementation of global technical initiatives, meeting deadlines and budget requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and develop mitigation plans to address any issues that may impact project timelines or outcomes.
- Act as liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead complex projects and programs.
- Assess resource capacity and provide recommendations for achievable allocation and outcomes.
- Proactively manage all levels of risk to ensure mitigation plans are in place, while balancing escalation and communication protocols with appropriate stakeholders.
- Facilitate medium- to large-scale, complex projects often involving multiple internal and external participants and partners. Directly manage all aspects of the project life cycle and oversee all phases of a project utilizing hybrid methodologies.
- Recognize change management opportunities. Develop and implement change management plans with stakeholders for successful adoption.
- Ensure end results are value driven via clearly articulated scope and quantifiable business benefit.
You have:
- 5+ years of project management experience, managing multiple cross-functional projects with varying complexities.
- Experience managing a team of direct reports, and the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards successful project outcomes.
- Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to assemble and motivate teams, set direction and approach, resolve conflict and deliver tough messages with grace.
- Self-starter with proven ability to quickly build relationships and earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders.
- Focused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent presentation, listening, and negotiation skills.
- Highly comfortable with cross-functional collaboration and communication at all levels, both written and verbally.
- Ability to execute with limited information and ambiguity.
- Sound business and technical acumen.

- BA/BS Degree preferred and/or comparable work experience.
