LHH is seeking a Receiving Supervisor for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a distribution client located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is an opportunity to join a well-established organization that is an industry leader within their area of specialty. You will lead a small team as you oversee the receiving operations at the distribution center. The compensation is commensurate to experience and ranges between $55,000-60,000 per year and includes a comprehensive benefit package, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead receiving operations during your assigned shift which include oversight of the warehousing staff, product storage, and inventory control
- Coordinate all operational activities required for timely and efficient receipt and proper storage
- Maintain accurate inventory transaction records by completing daily cycle counts and performing root cause analysis to identify and prevent future non-conformance issues
- Ensures shipping documentation is in order for product sent to various markets.
- Ensure maximum return on investment through effective operational performance and the successful completion of assigned projects
- Administer performance management program
- Evaluate and recommend training resources to support employee development
- Follow corporate policies to meet both short and long term goals regarding safety, performance, and compliance
- Maintain adherence to health and safety standards
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of operations supervision experience within a warehousing and/or distribution environment is required
- Must have experience working with an ERP and/or WMS system (i.e. SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, Red Prairie, etc.)
- Must have experience resolving/preventing safety-related issues and reportables in a warehousing setting
- Must possess the ability to maintain high level of detail and integrity while executing responsibilities
- Must have experience in partnering with colleagues in all levels of an organization to drive priorities
