Drug Rebate Manager
Conduent is seeking an experienced drug rebate professional to manage the day-to-day operations of a large-scale rebate team. The candidate will assist the Director of Rebate in client interactions and system improvement. A strong candidate will possess the ability to work independently, be an initiative-taker and have strong people skills.
Responsibilities
- Managing across ten (10) Government Health Services pharmacy client teams responsible for providing rebate management solutions to state Medicaid clients, ensuring compliant and accurate billing and collection of billions of dollars each year.
- Building relationships across client service teams to ensure compliance with CMS (Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services) regulations and Conduent financial standards and align rebate service development priorities.
- Managing the development, growth, and quality of rebate staff and delivering services to build bench depth and program resilience.
- Providing CMS rebate subject matter expertise and remaining current on federal rules and trends in the marketplace.
- Maintaining a strong professional network and promoting the organization at industry meetings.
- Meeting with client consistently via phone or in-person, interacting with drug manufacturers up to eight hundred, managing client relationship, managing relationship with pharmaceutical companies on behalf of state of Maryland.
Requirements
- Have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and related experience including reporting.
- Display strong skills in MS Excel and other MS Office products.
- Show minimum of three (3) years of experience managing a manufacturer drug rebate program in either a government or private sector.
- Possess previous experience with Medicaid drug rebate dispute resolution between state and pharmaceutical companies.
- Able to comprehend quantitative and qualitative methods to perform accurate analysis.
- Have 3-5 years of staff management experience including a proven record of managing various levels within an organization.
- Possesses healthcare industry experience.
- Show Drams knowledge (preferred).

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $90k.
